AJ Abrams

 

Meet DDS Call Center Rep AJ Abrams!

AJ Abrams is a native of Long Beach, CA.  He began his training with Keith Clifton of the Clifton Dance Project and Terri and Anthony Sellars of the Orange County Dance Center.  AJ also trained with various programs all over the country such as the School Of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet.  AJ began his professional career with Ballet Austin under the direction of Steven Mills.  His credits include dancing original works by Steven Mills, Sugar Plum Cavalier in the Nutcracker, Albrecht in Giselle, a solo role in Septime Weber’s ‘Fluctuating Hemlines’ and the principal role in George Balanchine’s ‘Who Cares’.  Since leaving Ballet Austin, AJ has performed in musicals as well as the Crystal Cathedral’s ‘Glory Of Christmas’.  He currently finished his first season as a member of the Luminario Ballet of Los Angeles and is very excited to return in 2011!

When asked how being a dancer helps him in his job at DDS, AJ answered “Being a dancer helps me connect with the customer.  I understand their needs and have product knowledge, often from first hand experience”.
